Once again I get finally get around to making a a new blog, even if this one is more of an update then a blog about a game or something. At least I have a (sorta) excuse for my lack of writing and making videos: my laptop is a piece of crap. Which is why I recently bought a new desktop computer.
In terms of specs, it's not a high end computer, but it's a HUGE upgrade from my 4 year old laptop. Hell, I can now play modern games on this thing! (Okay, maybe not at the best possible graphics for all new games, but still...) And be able to use Fraps recording without horrible lag!
Also, I've been installing things with little problems. I can still use my Dazzle thanks to driver updates for it as well as everything else I used before (still need to install Sony Vegas at the time of this writing, but I should have that done soon). Everything also runs a lot better than before, compared to my old laptop anyway, so making videos and things should be easier and faster for me.
The only downside to all this is that even though this was a cheaper model that was on sale, I'm pretty much broke. But hey, who isn't after Christmas?
Specs: AMD Athlon 2.8 GHZ Dual Core Processor, 6 GB RAM, 750 GB HD ATI Radeon 4200 HD graphics card.
So yeah, I'm pretty pleased with this computer for what I want to do with it. Victory music go!
